For the most part, Florida is a nice place to live. The weather is nice – warm summers, no much winter. Florida has some of the absolute best beaches in the world. And as a football fan, Florida is an incredible place live.
It's hard to decide on a favorite beach in Florida. I've always live Panama City Beach. But I've always lived Siesta Key and I've always loved Daytona Beach, too.
As a football fan, Florida offers so much that it's hard to keep track. The Pro teams are nice (I'm more of a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan than a Dolphins fan). But the college scene is more exciting. You have the Gators at the University of Florida (and they seem to win the national title half the time these days). Then there's Florida State and the University of Miami. Central Florida is new on the scene and has made quite a splash.
Are there drawbacks to life in Florida? There's a burglary in Florida every three minutes according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's crime clock. You can join a crime prevention group if you want, but the best way to stop your house from being broken into is by getting a home security system from someone like ADT Florida.
On the whole, life is good. And life in Florida is just a little better…
