© Alkuin

When you travel around the world, it's essential that you visit the Alps, which are the famous range of mountains in Europe. The mountains stretch across a number of European countries, including France, Germany and Italy.

In Italy, the Alps can be experienced by going to the region of South Tyrol. There are several holiday spots there including at Hotel Ahrntal, among others. The attractive feature about the Alps is the fact that most of the Alps are covered by snow and ice which remains year round. As a result, the Alps offer a number of enjoyable activities for tourists. Notably, there are several major ski areas for both beginner skiers and expert skiers, as well as for snowboarders. There are many other outdoor activities, too, including hiking and mountain climbing.

Mountain biking is another adventure sport that can be done during summer months. The activity consists of taking your bike up a mountain via the ski lift, and then biking down the mountain. Another unique Alpine activity is to play snow golf.

For those of you who would like to find out more about activities at the Alps and holidaying at the Italian Alps, then you can visit http://www.feldmilla.com/en/.

Around the World Travel with Sony VAIO
© pcsiteuk

Sony VAIO has launched a new marketing campaign which uses Facebook to encourage Latin American shoppers to buy their products. The campaign called "Go Around the World With the S Series" was created for Sony by the Ignited marketing agency to promote the S Series of laptops.

The campaign uses banner ads and Facebook ads to drive consumer traffic to a contest app where visitors can sign up to win a trip around the world and other prizes including S Series laptops. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness about the new products and generate increased sales. The campaign is specifically targeted to Latin American shoppers because this group is still lagging in terms of online purchases. They are discouraged by factors like online taxes and lack of trust, so Sony has faced challenges in marketing online to this region.
